Who says that petite girls can't rock midi skirts? Because we sure can! I have been completely obsessed with them but could not find the right style. I found this the day before my trip to LA hiding on a rack in between a bunch of other skirts. It was meant to be!

I ended up wearing this outfit to the first day of Lucky FABB last Friday. I put the look together the day before my trip. Full midi skirts are such a big trend right now and I really wanted to give it my own take. I love them paired with a crop top. Honestly, any excuse to wear a crop top I am all for it! And the weather over here is perfect for them. What I loved the most about this one (also found it day before my trip) is the shape of it. I like that it only shows a little bit of my stomach in the front and covers the sides. It almost looks like one piece and a few people even thought this was a dress. I like creating that illusion sometimes. I didn't really want to go with an all black look so my way of breaking it up was with these shoes once again. Now if I wore this out anywhere else, I would have done a smaller clutch. But since this was for the conference, I needed a bag that was big enough to hold my camera and all of my things through out the day. And instead of doing my obvious red lip, I went for a fun bright pink. I also got my hair done in the morning by Beautiqit. They're an on location beauty app in the LA area. Think of uber but for hair and makeup!
