This past weekend I took a little road trip to Hershey Park for July 4th with my mom, sis and brother-in-law [and baby]. I have not been there since I was little. My father used to love taking us there and this trip definitely brought back so many childhood memories. To be honest, I have not gone away with both my mom and sister in a very long time. I feel like now that she is married and pregnant, we are going to be doing so many more things together as a family and that makes me extremely happy. This weekend was seriously so much fun and I just felt like a kid again. Although it rained majority of the time, we still managed to spend an entire day at the park and enjoy ourselves. I overcame my life long fear of rollercoasters with the help of my new brother. Well by help I mean he actually gave me no choice. [lol] But seriously, it was an amazing feeling to overcome that fear and I am so happy that I did. We laughed so much, we played games, and even my mom went on a few things with us. I love that she included the monorail as one of the "rides." [haha] I shared a ton more on snapchat including some silly videos. I was hoping to create my first travel vlog, but unfortunately I didn't get enough footage. That's ok though because ultimately my goal with this trip was to truly be in the moment and be fully present there with my family. I look forward to so many more trips like this once the baby comes!
Here's a compilation of photos from my weekend road trip.
