I'm keeping it really comfy, simple and casual today in some of my summer basics: shorts, a crop tank & chunky heeled sandals. Before my Montreal trip, I found these shoes on sale for $10 so I picked them up in both white and black. I've been searching everywhere for an every day shoe like this. The heel is low and chunky so it's perfect for walking around during the day and it's a nice switch from my high heels! I also got this top while I was in Canada. It's a great staple piece for the summer. You can never have too many white tops. Now as for these shorts, they are seriously the softest and most comfortable pair I own. I found them at H&M a few days before my trip. They are part of their Conscious Collection, which makes them that much better. I'm all for sustainable fashion.
Now this brings me to the main part of today's post. H&M has partnered up with DoSomething.org to launch a program called Comeback Clothes. It promotes clothing recycling and fashion sustainability by encouraging young people to give their old and worn-out clothing a new life. Customers can bring their unwanted clothing to any H&M store and drop them off in the garment recycling bin in exchange for 15% off their next purchase. You can watch the PSA with Olivia Wilde HERE. We are all constantly updating our wardrobes and getting rid of things that we no longer want, especially this time of year as we go into the summer season.
