It didn't take much time before I brought out this mustard trench again. It has been so beautiful outside lately, so I guess in a way I was matching with the sunshine. :) I previously wore this trench with leggings, boots, a chunky knit and hat during fashion week, so this time I wanted to switch it up completely and make it more appropriate for spring. It's such a good spring coat, especially because the material is so thin. It's just enough to keep you warm on those breezy days, but not too much that it becomes overwhelming. There are so many different styles of trench coats, but my favorite ones are collarless, have a thin material, and are super long.
I've always been a fan of mustard and leopard print together, so I felt that these pumps worked really well with the coat. I added in the black to sort of balance out the whole look. To keep things somewhat casual chic, I went with distressed denim and put my hair into a big messy bun. I swear it looks like there is a birds nest on my head, [lol] but I just prefer doing big messy buns lately. They are not always easy to do, but they really add that "chic factor" to any outfit!
