I wanted to post this on Women's Day, but decided to stick to our schedule. You know why? Because it's Women's Day everyday! We have to celebrate ourselves every day, every time we hit a milestone in our lives. When I was younger and was in my anarchist, total-black outfits and eyeliner everyday kinda period, I hated being a woman. I hated that I had to suffer every month just to call myself a girl. I couldn't see the benefits of it. I wanted to be a boy, so I dressed like one. But times changed, and so did my personality and style. I learned that being a woman is a blessing not only because we can flaunt around in pretty dresses and skirts, but because like it or not, we control life. We give birth to new generations, we live longer, and we make life prettier. So why not celebrate ourselves every day?
