One of my favorite parts about summer is getting to wear little dresses like this. They are one of the best ways to keep cool in the heat, but still remain stylish while doing soon. Plus, they are super versatile. I try my best to stock up on different styles this time of year to help get me through the summer months. This one has a subtle chevron print adding a nice texture. As you can see in my recent posts, I've been wearing the heck out of this gold plated white belt. It's really been the perfect accessory. I got these shoes a few months ago and I'm finally wearing them now. I thought it would be fun to play up on the color of the dress with these since they are very similar, but in a darker shade. And then to brighten up the look, I added my everyday white tote and a statement necklace. I also went with these shades to bring another element to the outfit as well. It's what I like to call "daytime chic." It's dressy, but not overdone for the day. I'll definitely be wearing this dress again though, but with flats next time! :)
