Kinga: Zara dress (find it at Kurtmann) & jacket, Deichman heels, Sammydress necklace }
Our tiny family always goes crazy on Halloween. It holds something so magical yet so mysterious. Although we don't like scary movies and we rarely went trick-or-treating as children, we always made sure to have the most creative costumes. Even though our mom is a GP, she has such a great imagination. She always made us the perfect costumes, and of course we always won in school contests. I remember being a scarecrow, a mummy, of course witch, old woman and so on.
Now that we have grown older, we forgot about all the preparation and all the fus of creating a new costume (not buying it like others do). But this weekend, we dressed in our pretties dresses, and did an awesome photoshoot with our lovely photographer. Mom created the hat out of an old summer hat, on which she just put a cardboard in a conic shape, after what she wrapped it around with a black material, used stapler to fix it, and added some bugs to give it a scary touch. Easy as pie! Then she "created" (more dramatic word needed than "did") my hair, which is so unbelievable. After a few minutes of looking around in our closet, she just came to me and said: I want to put a scarf , a fur and this hair donut in your hair. I was like, hell no, that is impossible. And she did it. Of course it was so heavy, but totally worth it, don't you think?
And let's not forget about Kinga, who did an awesome job with the make ups! Initally we wanted to do a collaboration with a make up artist from our town, but she wasn't sure she can pull of a Halloween make up (wierd right??) so I told Kinga, she is more than capable of doing this on her own. You know, where we live people are not open for any type of collaborations, they don't want to work with anyone, they just do their jobs, blog a few times a year, and that's all. But I guess everyone decides for themselves what kind of blogger they really want to become, someone who wants to widen their knowledge and get to know as many people as possible or someone who are doing just fine by themselves.
