We spent our last day in Hungary visiting Szentendre, a very beautiful, artistic little town near Budapest. It is famous for the many museums, galleries and it is a go-to place for every artist. Honestly we never expected it to be so fascinating and colorful place! We were really lucky, when we arrived there we saw that there was a fair going on, with a lot of great souvenir shops. One of the most fascinating things was walking into a Christmas shop. Oh, it made us miss Christmas!! It was also a sort of a museum, with a few Christmas trees decorated in different decades. We just enjoyed it! Another must is the chocolate museum. We didn't enter the museum, but we sure tasted them (Szamos Marcipan). Worth every penny ahm forints! The last thing we did before leaving this pretty place is - yes you guessed it right - eat more dessert! If you visit this place don't forget to check out Lola cukraszda! Everything was so freakin' delicious!
In the evening we arrived back to Budapest, and decided to take a last look around the Danube, this time from the other side (Buda). Cannot wait to be back!!
