     Hey everyone! Welcome back to the second post of this Travel diary! I told you all about how they screw you over with the money, but I haven't told you the best alternative to get czech crowns. Well first of all, you could change it in the station or somewhere far from the city centre, or you could just simply use your credit card! That was the cheapest way for all of us, plus there are a lot of ATM's so you could take out some money also. Of course, ATM's don't really charge you and the conversion rate is pretty OK.
     I told you also how some things about public transport, mostly the fact that noone speaks English. There is something else also. When you buy your ticket, you don't pay for one ticket as in one fare, but you pay for the time you spend on the metro. There is a 30 minute ticket, and a 90 minute one. Of course you could buy a three day ticket, but I think it will cost you more. Given the fact that Prague, and the pretty places in Prague are close to each other, you won't really use the "3 day pass" that often. Oh and none ever checks for them. We could have easily just use the public transport without buying tickets, but we would be afraid to do something like that. But still, be aware, they will sometimes check the tickets of tourists, cuz after being screwed over at the exchange and the restaurant, you need to get screwed over at the metro also! :)
     So let's talk about what we did on our second day in Prague! 

What we visited:
  • Dancing House - You can get there with the B metro (Karlovo Nameti). Also, what you need to know is that this extravaggant building stands out amongst the more traditional ones, so you can just get lost, take a long walk, I am pretty sure you will enjoy it! 
  • National Theatre - When I first saw this place the night before, I knew we had to come back and take some pictures here. Simply breathtaking! 
  • Wenceslas Square - This is part of the historic centre of Prague, a World Heritage Site! 
  • National Museum - It is situated in the Wenceslas Square. We didn't take a look inside, but we've seen some pictures and it is simply amazing! Next time I will definitely visit it. 


Where to eat: 

  • Cafe Cafe - You can see on the photos it is such a trendy place! Plus, don't forget to order a strawberry cream soup, it was freaking delicious!
  • Bernard Pub - This was really close to our hotel so we just went there to drink some beers. I tried out the alcohol free, cherry flavour one and I have to say, I wasn't impressed. But the food was so good, I would totally recommend this place! Plus the regular beer was pretty OK.
  • If you don't feel like spending that much money on food you can just simply go to the mall (there's one in the Namesti Republiky) but we spent almost the same ammount of money on food in the mall as in most of the restaurants.
