Montreal Diary- Part 2

Hey loves!  Here is part two of my Montreal trip.

We started off the second day with a yummy breakfast at L'Aromate with Frederick, the director of sales & marketing at St-Martin Hotel.  Breakfast food is seriously my favorite and this was one of the best that I've ever had.  I have an omelette obsession!  If you ever stay at St-Martin Hotel, ask for Frederic and he will make sure your stay is a pleasant one.  Thanks so much Frederic!

It was raining again on the second day and this is when we discovered the underground mall!  Thankfully our hotel was literally right across the street from one of the entrances.  It was beautiful!  It goes on for miles and unless someone told us about it, we would have never known.  It was the best way to spend a rainy morning.

Like mother, like daughter lol

After spending some time at the mall, we head over to the Dynamite headquarters for a fun afternoon.  They gave us a tour, a preview of the new fall collection and set up a blogger photo shoot and interview.  They really made my trip extra special! A special thanks to Patricia & Laura <3

After that we went back to the hotel to get ready for dinner and our last night.  We ended up going to Old Montreal again to this place called Jardin Nelson.  It's a really cute outdoor restaurant with live music.  We tried crepes for the first time!

It finally stopped raining on our last day.  We spent the morning having breakfast, shopping and hanging out at the Botanical Gardens. It was gorgeous!

And then it was time to check out and head home :( Thank you for a lovely time St-Martin!

I would definitely take another road trip to Canada or anywhere else for that matter. I drove a total of 13 or 14 hours both ways, which actually was not too bad. We rented a car too so we didn't have to worry about putting the extra mileage on our own cars.  It was nice being able to sight see along the way and since we left at 3am to head there, it was pretty much just an open road with no other cars.  Now I understand what my father was talking about all the time.  I completely get why he loved traveling by car and taking road trips.   It's definitely very freeing. I think now that I am older, I'm able to appreciate it much more.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing Montreal through my eyes!  I definitely recommend going there if you have not yet.  It's such a beautiful city with so much to see & do.  I'm looking forward to my next trip in July and hopefully another one in the fall.  I've started a long list of all the places that I want to visit both in the US and overseas.  I hope to check them all off one day!

Wishing you guys a happy weekend <3
