Excuse us for the loongest post ever! In an OOTD kind of post we usually try to put in max 10 photos, but you have to understand that when two girls go to London, well, this happens. Since we are really behind on our photos, we decided to stick to one post/day spent in England, because if we would post our outfits separately, we would never finish showing you them.
Anyway, our day in London was such a hectic day! Honestly, that is how we see life in England, full of life and excitement. We had previously booked tickets for the Buckingham Palace, so we were in a real hurry to get there in time. Since it is opened only during summertime, we were really excited to be able to visit it!
Unfortunately, we could not take photos. At the entrance they checked us out, we had to put our bags and everything we had in our pockets through an X-ray kinda machine, just like at the airports. It was unbelievable, but I guess in such a crazy world that we are living, totally necessary. We were given free audio guides, and we spent the most wonderful one hour inside this big, historical place.
We could go on and on about the rooms, about the fact that we stepped on the same carpet where baby Prince Charles was reading books, or that we got to see the room where Kate Middleton's wedding photo was taken, but I think this is an experience everyone should enjoy during their lifetime, if they are interested in the Royal Family and English history.
After this, we literally ran to eat, we hoped to get meal deal at a nearby Pizza Hut, but we missed it, so we chose to buy some food in Tesco's. If you want to keep your money for shopping clothes rather than expensive food, we recommend you try out Tesco's or Boots meal deal. For 3 to 5 pounds you can buy a big sandwich, something to drink and snacks. Oh and don't forget the sushi, it is surprisingly good!!
We crossed the street to the Parliament Square where we sat down and enjoyed our food and the view. One little advice, if you are scared of mice, it might not be the best place for you to eat. After finishing our food, we investigated them, but Kinga was so afraid, we just left. Next destination: Oxford Street! We took a long walk across London, then went inside the biggest Primark in the whole UK! It was madness! We've never seen so many people in a shop, well, we never were inside of a 3 or maybe even 4 floor shop. It was just as big as a shopping center here in Romania.
After looking through some parts of Primark, we just wanted to relax a bit, so we headed to Starbucks. Such a weird thing happened to us there, the cashier complimented Saci's dress. We are so used to unfriendly and bored people in every single shop/cafe that a nice compliment feels weird. English people are so so lovely and friendly.
We finished our day in London with a taxi drive to Trafalgar square to meet the rest of our group and go to our hotels in Cambridge. But we will tell you more about that in a next post!

Hope you enjoyed reading this post!
xoxo,
Saci & Kinga
